Through the Counterintelligence Strategic Partnership (CISP) Program, the FBI hopes to expand its outreach to its selected cleared defense contractors, academia, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to determine and safeguard those technologies which, if compromised, would result in catastrophic losses to the national security of the United States. The CISP program provides a vital line of defense where intelligence services are focused. It is through the sharing of counterintelligence information and actionable intelligence that the FBI and key public and private entities are better prepared to address the counterintelligence threats present in our world today.
